This week…
I have finished reading Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid, for our Shoreditch Sisters WI book group. We met on Tuesday evening to discuss it – it had mixed reviews but on the whole everyone did enjoy reading it! Read my own review here.
I also finished Elevator Pitch by Linwood Barclay. He’s an author I haven’t read much of before, but I really enjoyed this novel and will definitely be reading more by this author in the future! My review will be up soon.
At the moment I’m reading The Butterfly Room by Lucinda Riley. I didn’t realise quite how long this book was before starting it – 640 pages! – but I’m really enjoying it and the story doesn’t feel like it’s dragging. It’s making a nice change from thrillers and crime novels.
Next I’m not sure what to read next, as there’s a lot to choose from including: The Mother-in-Law by Sally Hepworth, The Au Pair by Emma Rous, The Perfect Wife by J.P. Delaney, or one of the many paperbacks I’ve been saving to read soon! And I got a few great-sounding books at Wednesday night’s Penguin x sofa.com book blogger event, so they’re all on my to-read list as well! Here they are:

I really enjoyed the audiobook of CJ Taylor’s Sleep, and posted my review as part of the blog tour here.
I’ve also been enjoying the new series of My Dad Wrote A Porno and the return of The High Low.
