It’s been a while since I’ve done an update, especially as I’ve got so behind on my review copies (I was doing SO well but then it all just piled up – I’m blaming it on so many books being published in June, try as I might I just couldn’t keep up!)
So, as it’s finally Friday, here’s my #FridayFeeling update!
This week (since last Friday) I have finished three books: The Things I Know by Amanda Prowse, Who Killed Ruby by Camilla Way and The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell.
On the horizon is my review for Stone Cold Heart by Caz Frear, which is the second book in the Cat Kinsella series, and which I’m reading at the moment! I’ll also soon be reading After The End by Clare Mackintosh, Our Stop by Laura Jane Williams, and Tell Me Your Secret by Dorothy Koomson, all of which I’m really looking forward to!
TV-wise, I’ve been watching more than usual. We’ve got very into Safe (based on the book by Harlan Coben, which I haven’t actually read). The series has its faults but is pretty addictive watching – LOTS of twist and red herrings – so I’d recommend giving it a go! It’s available on Netflix. We’re also pleased to see the start of a new series of Peaky Blinders which is always entertaining (watch on BBC Iplayer)!
See some more books (five, to be exact) that I can’t wait to read on this blog post.
What have you been reading recently? Any exciting books you’re looking forward to reading next?
