It’s been a while since I’ve done an update, especially as I’ve got so behind on my review copies (I was doing SO well but then it all just piled up – I’m blaming it on so many books being published in June, try as I might I just couldn’t keep up!)
So, as it’s finally Friday, here’s my #FridayFeeling update!
This week has been a slightly quieter reading week as I’ve been out a lot, but I have finished two books: Clear My Name by Paula Daly (as part of the blog tour) and Then She Vanishes by Claire Douglas. Both were brilliant reads!
On the horizon is my blog tour review of One Year Later by Sanjida Kay next week, which I’m currently reading – I’ll be part of the blog tour with a review on the 14th August, so keep an eye out for that next week!
I’ve also got some great-sounding books which I’m excited to read (and many of which have been out for a little while, as I’m rather behind on my TBR pile!) including Who Killed Ruby by Camilla Way, The Other Half of Augusta Hope by Joanna Glen and Stone Cold Heart by Caz Frear (the second in the Cat Kinsella series – read my review on the first in the series, Sweet Little Lies, here).
I’m also super excited to read the new release from Karen Perry, Come a Little Closer – her books never disappoint – as well as I Looked Away by Jane Corry and Amanda Prowse’s new novel, The Things I Know (heard some great things about it!).
Podcast-wise, I’ve been really enjoying The Teacher’s Pet, a podcast by The Australian, who also released Who The Hell is Hamish, another podcast I really enjoyed!
See some more books (five, to be exact) that I can’t wait to read on this blog post.
What have you been reading recently? Any exciting books you’re looking forward to reading next?
I’m the same. June really got me behind and then yesterday was a big publication day too
Kinda glad it’s not just me ???? here’s hoping we both catch up with our lists soon!
