WWW Wednesday [18 January 2017]

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme, hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words.
Visit her blog to take a look, and get involved too if you can, even if you don’t have a blog yourself – as she says, you can leave your answers in the post comments. I’d love to see your answers too!
Well, as usual I’ve left it ages since the last WWW Wednesday – far more than a week’s worth, I should point out – it’s been about a month! So there’ll be plenty here!
The three W’s are:

  1. What have you finished reading?
  2. What are you currently reading?
  3. What will you read next?

What have you finished reading?

The Perfect Blend – Tess Masters
Sheet Pan Suppers – Molly Gilbert
The Watcher – Ross Armstrong
Little Deaths – Emma Flint
Good Me, Bad Me – Ali Land
Bridget Jones’s Baby – Helen Fielding
The Fifth Letter – Nicola Moriarty
A Boy Made of Blocks – Keith Stuart (I’d read this before but republished my review as part of the blog tour, as it’s just come out in paperback!)
The Girl Before – JP Delaney (review to follow soon)
Behind Her Eyes – Sarah Pinborough (review to follow soon)
What are you currently reading?

The Best of Adam Sharp – Graeme Simsion
A God in Ruins – Kate Atkinson
What will you read next?

I think I’ll read:
The Witchfinder’s Sister by Beth Underdown
The Breakdown – B A Paris
…but I don’t often end up reading what I think I will!

What have you been reading recently? Any exciting books you’re looking forward to reading next?

If you do your own version of this tag please let me know in the comments below, I’d love to read your answers too!

Why not add me as a friend on Goodreads!

  1. You read all those books? In a WEEK?? I’m A bit jealous. My job is so inconvenient to my reading life 😉
I have read Good Me, Bad Me and A Boy Made of Blocks and plan on reading Breakdown and Little Deaths soon too (but like you I’m easily distracted…)

    • Gawd no since the last WWW post which was weeks ago! I have just altered it as I think I was accidentally misleading people – I’m the same job-wise, working full time makes it really hard to read as much as I’d like – and in fact to do WWW posts each week. I need to do them more regularly!
Have a great reading week! 🙂

  2. Little Deaths seems to be cropping up everywhere at the moment, it must be a sign for me to read it! I’ve always been afraid of reading the sequels to Bridget Jones’s Diary- I enjoyed it so much that I’m not sure the others could live up to it!

    • Definitely a sign! I really enjoyed it haha.
Yeah I have to say Bridget Jones’s Diary is always a tricky one as nothing can really live up to the first book. This one was a lot of fun to read anyway even if it wasn’t quite as good!

  3. wow you have had a great reading week. We have Good Me Bad Me in common. I will check out your review. I also got The Fifth Letter recently.
Enjoy your next reads. I am especially intrigued by The Break Down so I will look out for your review.

    • It’s actually what I’ve read since my last WWW post which was aaages ago so I think I’ve accidentally misled people a bit – I wish I had time to read this many books in a week!
I love Kate Atkinson, her crime series and these books, so I’m looking forward to reading the rest of A God in Ruins to see if it lives up to expectations! 🙂 happy reading to you too and thanks for sharing your post x

  4. I know all about the ‘I seldom end up reading what I plan on reading’… I’ve read The Breakdown and thought it was a bit far-fetched. And I really want to read Little Deaths.

  5. I hope you like God in Ruins. I read Life After Life but didn’t get to the spinoff. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

  6. Wow I’m impressed with how many books you were able to read in a week! I’ve heard great things about quite a few of these, and I’m especially excited about Good Me Bad Me and The Girl Before. I hope you will enjoy your books this week and happy reading! Here’s my WWW.

    • Not in a week, just since the last WWW post which was aaages ago – I WISH I had time to read that much in a week! 🙂 Happy reading to you too and thanks for sharing your post x

  7. Some great looking books here – I have Little Deaths to read and I did want the Graeme Simsion but I just had too many review books to squeeze it in just yet. I’ll be looking out for your thoughts on that one.

    • I really enjoyed it, and most people I know did too but I guess you can’t appeal to everyone and can understand it might be a bit much for some / not their cup of tea! If you do read it I’ll be interested to see what you think! Thanks for sharing your post – will check it out now 🙂
