WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme, hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words.
Visit her blog to take a look, and get involved too if you can, even if you don’t have a blog yourself – as she says, you can leave your answers in the post comments. I’d love to see your answers too!
The three W’s are:
-
- What have you finished reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What will you read next?
What have you finished reading?
Still horribly behind on getting books reviewed before their publication dates and with the amount that were published right at the end of July, I don’t think I’ll catch up for a long while… However I finished reading:
The Secret She Keeps – Michael Robotham [my review here]
Together – Julie Cohen [my review coming soon]
Here and Gone – Haylen Beck [my review coming soon]
What are you currently reading?
I’m listening to the audiobook of The Handmaid’s Tale – Magaret Atwood [this is a bookclub pick, I’m almost finished so review to follow soon]
Also reading The House – Simon Lelic [I’m on the blog tour, my review will be up 8 August!]
What will you read next?
I’ve got so many books that were published on 27 July, so I’m not sure what I’#ll read next… perhaps either:
Last Seen Alive – Claire Douglas
Then She Was Gone – Lisa Jewell
or perhaps a Readers First book – Shelter by Sarah Franklin
What have you been reading recently? Any exciting books you’re looking forward to reading next?
Well I have been gushing about Shelter for months so I would definitely recommend that for your next read.
Glad to hear it’s a great read – I can’t wait to start it (finally!) ????
I’m waiting for that perfect moment to open up my lovely copy of Then She was Gone, but I don’t want to be disturbed when I do!
That’s it – I imagine you’ll need a quiet chunk of time to race through it. That’s what I’m planning to have anyway, when I do start it!
July 27th was such a busy day! I still have Together, Then She Was Gone and Shelter to read too!
Ahh that makes me feel better! Thanks – it is hard when they all seem to come out at once; can’t seem to read fast enough or find enough hours in the day around work!
I’m reading The House this weekend! 😀 Right now I’m reading A Single Step, and yesterday I read Best Intentions in one sitting, it was brilliant! Happy reading 🙂
Ooh enjoy when you do read it, I really enjoyed it! Sounds like I need to give best intentions a go too! Hope you enjoy A Single Step x
